Self Bunded Tanks
The SHAS Group Stock, Supply and commission a large range of fully compliant self bunded tanks. These units comply with AS1692, AS1657 and are installed and commissioned to AS1940 standards.
Manufactured from high quality steel
Being manufactured from high quality steel and utilising proven protective coatings they are durable for the environment they are intended for. Designed to shed water from the roof the tanks provide product security in all conditions.
AS1940 compliant overfill systems allow safe fill levels to 95% of gross capacity.
The tank systems can be setup to provide fuel farm facilities on sites with significant volume thoughput down to single tanks providing fuel storage to suit.
Range of Tanks
The range of tanks starts at 1000 litres and progresses through to 110,000 litre capacity.
The intent of self bunded tanks is to provide the user with the ability to store combustible and in some cases flammable products without having to invest in fixed assets like tank bunds etc.
Designed around the dimensions of ISO Containers they are easy to move around with a multitude of logistic systems.

Utlisiing the UL
Storage and dispensing of flammable products can present site based issues around location to buildings and other fixed assets. Utilising the UL listed fire safe tank assists in eleviating those issues whilst allowing the installation of hazard rated dispensing systems adjacent to the tank.
SHAS can supply bare tanks through to complete systems with Fuel Management Systems designed to suit the application.
